Man Killed At North Jersey Home Identified

ALLAMUCHY TWP., N.J. - The man shot and killed in a Panther Valley home early Saturday has been identified by the Warren County Prosecutor's Office.

Warren County Prosecutor Richard Burke identified the victim as Gage Theard, 24, of Milton, Florida. Burke said Theard had "multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso."

The incident took place in the early morning hours of Saturday at 7 Alexander Road in the Panther Valley section of Allamuchy Township in Warren County.

No charges have been filed, Burke said, and no other information was released. There is no threat to the community.

The suspect in the shooting, who was not taken into custody, was identified as a woman by wrnj.com. Burke would not verify that with Patch.
