Missing Mount Olive Woman Found Safe

BREAKING: Liz Palanchi​ was found safe after going missing.

MOUNT OLIVE, NJ — A Mount Olive woman who went missing for the second time in two months was found safe, Mount Olive Mayor Rob Greenbaum said.

Liz Palanchi went missing from her family's Mount Olive home around 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenbaum announced she had been found around 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

"I cant express the gratitude on behalf of the Mount Olive community," Greenbaum said, thanking neighboring police departments, as well as members of the township.

Greenbaum said Palanchi was found "relatively healthy," considering she had been outside for nearly two days.

"Thanks to everyone’s support and hard work we have found my mother. My family and I are speechless at the help we’ve received we love you all," her daughter, Heather, wrote on a widely shared Facebook post.

This was the second time Palanchi had gone missing in the past month. In mid-November, Palanchi went missing for nearly 24 hours, and was found in the woods near her home.
