Morris County Cheesecake Factory Sneak Peak: PICTURES

Take a look inside Morris County's first Cheesecake Factory ahead of its opening this week.

ROCKAWAY, NJ — There's plenty of reasons to head to the mall during the holiday season, but Rockaway Townsquare will soon have one more draw for shoppers: Morris County's first Cheesecake Factory. Ahead of the location's grand opening this Tuesday, Patch got a sneak peak of the restaurant, including trying the food.

The Rockaway location offers three dining areas: a small bar section, a mid-sized sit down dining area, and a small section of "outdoor" seating. The outdoor area is located inside the mall, across from a candle store, and is designed to mimic patio seating.

The food is the same fare you can expect at other locations, and the quality was on-par will that of other, long-established Cheesecake Factory restaurants. For those who have never dined at a Cheesecake Factory before, you can expect over 250 menu options ranging from burgers to seared tuna, and larger-than-standard portions. And, of course, a nearly endless selection of different cheesecakes.

Anticipation for the restaurant's opening was running high. As shoppers strolled past the outdoor seating in the mall, many took the time to comment on the upcoming opening, wishing it was earlier. One couple approached this reporter to tell her how lucky she was to already be eating at Cheesecake Factory.

Thankfully, you won't have to wait much longer. The Cheesecake Factory opens in Rockaway on Tuesday, Dec. 19. Restaurant hours will be: 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11:30 a.m. to midnight on Friday; 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturday; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
