Multiple Drug Arrests In Long Valley This Week

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Washington Township made multiple arrests this week during traffic stops, all for suspected drugs. Read about those arrests, according to police reports, here:

On September 6, 2017 at 3:15 p.m., Cpl. Thomas Falleni conducted a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue for a motor vehicle violation. While speaking to the driver who was identified as Kevin Webb, Cpl. Falleni detected the odor of Marijuana emanating from within the vehicle. A subsequent investigation revealed Mr. Webb was in Possession of Marijuana along with Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Webb was placed under arrested and transported to Washington Township Police Headquarters.

Mr. Webb was issued a Criminal Complaint for Possession of Marijuana (under 50 grams) and for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Webb was later released with a pending court date in Washington Township Municipal Court.

On September 8, 2017 at 11:36 p.m., Patrol Officer Michael Thompson was conducting property checks on Edgeview Drive when he observed a suspicious, occupied vehicle parked along the roadway. Upon speaking with the driver who was identified as Kevin Rodriquez, PO Thompson detected the odor of marijuana emanating from within the vehicle. A subsequent investigation by PO Thompson found Mr. Rodriguez was in possession of marijuana along with drug paraphernalia. Mr. Rodriguez was placed under arrest and transported to Washington Township Police Headquarters.

Mr. Rodriquez was issued a Criminal Complaints for possession of marijuana (under 50 grams) and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Rodriguez was later released with a pending court date in Washington Township Municipal Court.

On September 9, 2017 at 3:03 a.m., Patrol Officer Derek Heymer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 57 for a moving violation that occurred on East Avenue. While speaking to the driver who was identified as Adrian Duncan, PO Heymer detected the odor of marijuana emanating from within the vehicle. A subsequent investigation by P.O. Heymer determined that Mr. Duncan was in possession of a marijuana grinder. Mr. Duncan was placed under arrest and transported to Washington Township Police Headquarters.

Mr. Duncan was issued a Criminal Complaint for possession of drug paraphernalia along with a motor vehicle complaint for speeding. Mr. Duncan was later released with a pending court date in Washington Township Municipal Court.
