Missing Person in Washington Twp. Found Safe
White male originally sought was on foot in Pleasant Grove Road area, officials said.

UPDATE, 7:12 p.m.: Washington Township officials say the man originally reported missing and roaming on foot in the Pleasant Grove Road area was found and is safe as of 7:10 p.m. The original Nixle alert was deployed at 6:58 p.m.
“No further community vigilance needed,” the second alert read.

Police are searching for a missing person on top of Schooley’s Mountain Tuesday night and are asking for the public’s help.
A Nixle alert was deployed by Washington Township’s Office of Emergency Management at 6:58 p.m., stating that a white male, 57, was missing and last seen on foot in the vicinity of Pleasant Grove Road.

The alert said the man was wearing a blue winter jacket over gray sweat pants, is balding with light colored pig tails, and possibly wearing a black and tan hat.
Officials are asking residents to call 9-1-1 if the man is spotted.
