Traffic Stop Brings Driver With Fake Inspection Sticker To Long Valley: Police

The police department reports that the person was also driving around with a suspended license and an outstanding warrant.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — The Washington Township Police Department has dealt with another driver over the past two months coming through the township who had a fraudulent inspection sticker, who police additionally found had an outstanding warrant.

On the afternoon of Oct. 25, after pulling over the unidentified driver on Route 46, Lt. Mark Niemynski - spokesperson for the police department - said the responding officer found the person had an outstanding warrant already with Washington Township’s Municipal Court.

However, Niemynski said in the news release on Thursday, the officer also found the person had a suspended license and had been driving around with a counterfeit inspection sticker on their car, charges they now need to answer to in the township’s municipal court.
