Recent Washington Township Police Activity

Washington Township Police have made a number of arrests recently. Here are some of them.

LONG VALLEY, NJ— Washington Township Police have made a number of arrests recently, including drunk driving, drug possession, and warrant arrests. Here is some recent police activity, as described by the Washington Township Police:

On March 31, 2017 at 9:15 AM Patrol Officer Daniel Parrish conducted a motor vehicle on Schooley’s Mt Road for an equipment violation. A subsequent investigation by PO Parrish found the driver of the vehicle, Freddy Cuewas had that two outstanding warrants for his arrest, which were issued by Hackettstown Municipal Court in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Cuewas was unable to post bail and was later turned over to Hackettstown Police Department.

On April 1, 2017 at 01:31 Hrs, Sgt. Brian Bigham conducted a motor vehicle stop on Drakestown Road for a motor vehicle violation. While speaking to the driver who was identified as Joseph P. Boyle Jr, Sgt. Bigham detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. A subsequent investigation by Sgt. Bigham determined that Mr. Boyle was operating his motor vehicle while intoxicated. Mr. Boyle was placed under arrest and transported to Washington Township Police Headquarters.

Mr. Boyle was issued motor vehicle complaints for DWI, Reckless Driving and Failure to Keep right. Mr. Boyle was later released to a responsible adult with a pending court date in Washington Township Municipal Court.

On April 3, 2017 at 14.21 Hrs, Patrol Officer Michael Thompson conducted a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in Califon Boro for a Motor Vehicle Violation. Upon speaking with the driver who was identified as Jessica Bryan, PO Thompson detected the odor of Marijuana emanating from the vehicle. A subsequent investigation by PO Thompson found that Ms. Bryan was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Ms. Bryan was placed under arrest and transported to Washington Township Police Headquarters.

Ms. Bryan was issued a Criminal Complaint charging her with possession of drug paraphernalia along with a motor vehicle complaint for Failure to stop and driving while suspended. Ms. Bryan was later released with a pending court date in the Washington Township Municipal Court.

On April 4, 2017 at 21.38 Hrs, Patrol Officer Frank Giaquinto conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt 46 after observing an equipment violation. While speaking to the driver who was identified as Adam Huber, PO Giaquinto detected the odor of Marijuana emanating from the vehicle. A subsequent investigation by PO Giaquinto found that Mr. Huber was in possession of Marijuana. Mr. Huber was placed under arrest and transported to Washington Township Police Headquarters. Mr. Huber was issued a Criminal Complaint for possession of Marijuana (under 50 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Huber also was issued a motor vehicle complaint for maintenance of lamps. Mr. Huber was later released with a pending court date in Washington Township Municipal Court.
