Rep. Lance Visits Long Valley Fire House

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Rep. Leonard Lance stopped by the Fairmount Fire Company in Long Valley last week to learn more about first responders.

Lance is a member of the Congressional Fire Services Caucus in Congress. Members of the fire company demonstrated their equipment and first responder tactics.

The company was recently able to buy a self-contained breathing apparatus with money from a federal grant Lance's office helped award.

"Lance has assisted fire departments in New Jersey secure millions in new funding through federal emergency grant programs and voted to boost funding for SAFER FEMA grants. After the presentation, Lance and members of the Fairmount Fire Company sat down to discuss shared legislative priorities," a spokesperson for his office said.
