Special Township Meeting Scheduled For June 4 In Long Valley

The Washington Township Committee will discuss the temporary closure of Fairview Avenue among other items.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — The Washington Township Committee will be holding a special meeting on June 4, at 9 a.m., according to township officials.

The meeting will be held virtually through Zoom, a cloud-based audio conferencing tool that allows for computer and phone access. The committee intends to discuss the temporary closure of Fairview Avenue for the Long Valley Fire Company's 100th Anniversary Block Party at the meeting.

The meeting is free and open to the public, and directions will be posted on the Township's website. Following the planned discussion, any other issues that may arise will be addressed, and all parties involved will be given an opportunity to be heard.
