State PBA Raises Over $5K For Mallory's Army

The charity police hockey game benefited the Morris County-based anti-bullying organization.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — New Jersey PBA Hockey Team participated in a charity police hockey game last month, helping to raise over $5,000 for Mallory's Army.

The game, which took place on Dec. 29, saw the New Jersey PBA Hockey Team play against the New Jersey State Police Hockey Team to benefit local charities. PBA beat State Police 5-4.

Overall, over $10,000 was raised for charity, with the funds split between each team to donate to a charity of their choice. PBA donated their half to Mallory's Army, an anti-bullying organization established in the wake of 12-year-old Mallory Grossman's suicide. Grossman took her own life after what her mother called horrific bullying.
