Teen Caught Driving With Alcohol: Washington Twp Police

LONG VALLEY, NJ — A Mansfield teenager was arrested after police found alcohol and drug paraphernalia in his car, Washington Township Police said.

Police pulled the 18-year-old over on East Avenue for a traffic stop on July 21. During the stop, police saw "several" prescriptions that they say did not belong to him. They also found alcohol, police said.

The teen was arrested and taken to police headquarters. He was issued criminal complaints for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an alcoholic beverage under the legal age.

He was released with an upcoming court date.
