Teen Found Driving With Pot In Long Valley: Police

The teen has an upcoming court date.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — A local teen was caught driving with marijuana in the car, Washington Township Police said. They did not provide the teen's name.

Police pulled the teen over around 10:22 p.m. on Saturday on Route 46 W for a traffic stop. While speaking to the driver, a police officer smelled marijuana, police said.

After a search, police say they found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the car.

The teen was issued a juvenile complaint for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was released to his parents with an upcoming court ate in Morris County Superior Court Family Divison.
