Santa Land is owned and operated by the Denville Rotary Club, and is usually open between Thanksgiving and Christmas so children can meet Santa and share their wish lists with him. It has been in operation for over 50 years.

The Rotary's annual Street Festival will be held on June 4, and is a major annual fundraiser for Santa Land. It was not yet clear how the Club plans to repair the damage, but the Daily Record reported that insurance might cover some of it.
