Toddler Resuscitated After Drowning in Pool, Cops Say
Hackettstown police found child, 2, not breathing Monday afternoon, police report.

Hackettstown Police and first responders help saved a child’s life Monday afternoon after the toddler was found in unresponsive in a pool, police said.
Police and rescue squad members arrived at a residence on the 400 block of Sharp Street at 2:40 p.m. for a report of an unconscious two-year-old, Sgt. Darren Tynan said.
First responders gave CPR to the child and were able to resuscitate it before the toddler was taken to Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Tynan said. The child, who’s identity is still being withheld, was then flown by Atlantic Air 1 to Morristown Medical Center, Tynan said.

The incident is still under investigation. Is not yet known who reported the incident or who was responsible for reviving the child.
