Washington Township Residents Are Encouraged To Pay Quarterly Taxes On Line Due To Coronavirus

The 2020 Second Quarter taxes are due May 1, 2020 with the grace period ending May 11.

Due to COVID-19 the municipal building is closed to the public.

Residents are encouraged to pay taxes online at wtmorris.org by clicking on the Tax Payment button – Search tax account by Name, Address OR Block & Lot. PLEASE NOTE: The e-check fee of $1.05 will be credited back to your account on payments made after 4/21/20.

Online payments may also be made by credit card; please note that credit card fees will not be credited. Payments may be placed in the drop box at the front door of the municipal building OR mailed to the Washington Township Tax Office at 43 Schooley’s Mountain Rd., Long Valley, NJ 07853

Payments are applied according to the date received by the tax office, not postmark dates. The grace period ends May 11, interest on payments after May 11 reverts to May 1. The state has not granted authority to municipalities to extend the grace period.
