Washington Township's Property Tax Grace Period Extended To May 26
'The Township Committee extended the grace period from May 11 to May 26 for second quarter taxes as permitted under Executive Order-130.'

The Township Committee extended the grace period from May 11 to May 26 for second quarter taxes as permitted under Executive Order-130. The EO does not grant municipalities the authority to change the due date. The due date remains May 1 in accordance with state statute. Interest is waived for second quarter tax payments made by May 26. Interest on taxes paid after May 26 is calculated from May 1 in accordance with statute.

Residents are encouraged to pay taxes online at wtmorris.org by clicking on the Tax Payment button – Search tax account by Name, Address OR Block & Lot. PLEASE NOTE: The e-check fee of $1.05 will be credited back to your account on payments made after 4/21/20.
Online payments may also be made by credit card; please note that credit card fees will not be credited. Payments may be placed in the drop box at the front door of the municipal building OR mailed to the Washington Township Tax Office at 43 Schooley’s Mountain Rd., Long Valley, NJ 07853
