Woman Caught at Target After 8 Months of Shoplifting, Cops Say
Hackettstown woman stopped for taking $37 worth of goods, but allegedly admitted to taking thousands in recent months, police report.

A Hackettstown woman was caught allegedly shoplifting at Target on Rt. 46 in Washington Township recently, and may have been just the most recent incident in an eight-month stealing spree, Washington Township Police said.
At 3:43 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, police were dispatched to the department store for a report of a shoplifter in custody, Lt. Mark Niemynski said.
Store security told police they had caught Iris Feliciano, who had allegedly taken about $37 in merchandise, Niemynski said.

During the investigation, Feliciano allegedly admitted to security and police she had frequented the store over the last eight months to shoplift, and may be responsible for stealing up to $4,800 in goods, Niemynski said.
Feliciano was released with a court date after being processed at police headquarters. The investigation into Feliciano’s previous shoplifting incidents will be handled by Target security, Niemynski said.
