Woman Caught Trying to Steal Vodka From Long Valley Krauszer's, Cops Say

Westfield woman is only 20-years-old, police report.

A Westfield woman not legally able to buy alcohol was arrested last week for allegedly trying to steal liquor from a Long Valley business, Washington Township Police said.

Officer Thomas Falleni responded to a call for a reported shoplifter at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesay, March 18, Lt. Doug Compton said.

When Falleni arrived he met with the store owner, and identified Oria Alexander, 20, who was caught attempting to conceal and remove a bottle of vodka from the store, Compton said.

Alexander was taken into custody and charged with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia.
