300 rabbits, a calf, and guinea pigs were found at a Hampton home recently.

The Bergen County Animal Shelter is caring for some of the 300 rabbits that were found in an animal hoarder's Central Jersey home.

Some of the rabbits are being cared for and medically evaluated at the shelter and will be placed up for adoption as soon as they are deemed healthy.

A calf, guinea pigs, and 300 rabbits were found at a Hampton home Friday, NJ.com reported.

About 100 of the rabbits were found outside in cages, "full of feces," the report stated. A calf was found in the basement and officials also found guinea pigs in the house.

A call to the NJSPCA's animal cruelty hotline informed authorities about the animals, according to the report.
