Fundraiser Started For Mahwah Family After Fire Destroys Home
Breaking: The family's home was destroyed by a fire Saturday night. The family owns Secor Farm, which is near the house.

MAHWAH, NJ — A fundraiser has been started to help the Secor family, whose home was gutted by an electrical fire Saturday.
Darryl and Jackie Secor live in the home near Secor Farm on Airmont Avenue. The fire started outside and spread through the house. Darryl Secor tried to extinguish the fire. He was burned on his face and hands, but was otherwise alright. No other injuries were reported.
Mayor William Laforet started a fundraiser on Youcaring.com for the Secor family.

Laforet said that the family has been one of the most generous for more than 40 years.
"Now is our turn to help them," Laforet said. "Thank you for your generosity, let us show our support for them in their time of need."

The Mahwah Policemen's Benevolent Association Local 143 encouraged residents to give to the campaign.
