New and gently-used shoes can be brought to the run for the foundation's Soles4Souls charity drive. The goal is to collect 5,000 pairs of shoes.
"The Thunderbird Run and the Mahwah Schools Foundation is a strong support in the Soles4Souls mission of disrupting the cycle of poverty," said Jamie Brisby, one of the run's co-chairs. "We hope to take a big step in providing the organization with new and gently-used shoes that they require to keep making a difference for people in need."
