ShopRite Donates 6,500 Turkeys To Community Organizations
The turkeys will be distributed to 150 local groups and nonprofits.

MAHWAH, NJ — Inserra Supermarkets Inc. donated 6,500 turkeys to 150 local community and faith-based organizations to help feed 50,000 residents this holiday season.
Some of the organizations include the Little Sisters of the Poor, Community FoodBank of New Jersey, and The Salvation Army.
"On behalf of the people in Bergen County, I’d like to thank you for helping people who really need the help this year," Bergen County Executive James Tedesco III told the Inserra family at Monday’s donation event outside the ShopRite of Wallington.

Mahwah-based Inserra Supermarkets owns ShopRite. ShopRite volunteers helped load the turkeys onto trucks and vans Tuesday.
