A 52-year-old Belmar man was charged Tuesday with aggravated assault after allegedly striking the victim with a table leg, police said.
Ronald Jelinsky of 13th Avenue was charged with causing bodily injury to a "J.B." by striking the victim in the face, according to court records.
Court records say Jelinsky possessed a weapon with the purpose of striking the victim during a domestic dispute on Tuesday.
He was held on $35,000 bail and was schedule to appear in court Wednesday at 9 a.m.
