Belmar Man Charged With Having Drug Pipe While Damaging House

A 45-year-old Belmar man was charged recently for possessing a small white glass pipe - apparently for drug use - while damaging a house, according to Monmouth County Courthouse records.

Richard Loomis of 14th Avenue was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after he was found with the pipe on May 1, according to records.

That same day, he entered a house on 14th Avenue and remove aluminum gutters without a license, according to records.

According to the report, Loomis damaged the property by ripping gutters off the structure.

Loomis was lodged in jail on $5,000 bail with no 10 percent option.

He was scheduled to appear in court on May 7 at 9 a.m.
