Belmar Man Indicted For Allegedly Using 'Fraudulent Instrument' To Pass Drug Test

A 35-year-old Belmar man was indicted Tuesday for allegedly using a "fraudulent instrument" to pass a drug test, according to Monmouth County Courthouse records.

Michael Helgeland of the Belmar Inn was indicted for knowingly defrauding the administration of a drug test as a condition of bail.

The drug test is also administered a a condition of parole probation or pretial intervention.

No information on bail was available.
