Coastal Monmouth Beach Weather Report For July 14, 2016
Heat advisory in effect until 8 p.m.

The National Weather Service is calling for mostly cloudy skies today until1 p.m., then becoming mostly sunny.
There's a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a moderate chance of lightning.
Highs will be in the mid-80s. Beach winds will be from the south at 10 miles per hour.The surf will be around three feet, with southeast swells around two feet. The surf temperature is 72 degrees. There's a low risk of rip currents today, but strong currents can still near piers, jetties and other areas, especially during low tide
Swim only in guarded areas and ask them about any possible surf zone hazards. Don't forget the sunscreen. The UV index is a 9, which the NWS considers very high.

Low tide at Belmar was at 9:38 a.m. High tide will arrive at 3:59 p.m., followed by another low tide at 10:23 10:23 p.m.
