Garden Club of Spring Lake earns "Adopt-a-Station" Award from the New Jersey Clean Communities Council
Garden Club of Spring Lake celebrated for its work in cleaning and maintaining the Spring Lake Rail Station
The Garden Club of Spring Lake has received the “Adopt-a-Station” Award from the New Jersey Clean Communities Council (NJCCC) for its efforts to clean and maintain the Spring Lake Rail Station in Monmouth County.
The group is excited to be a part of the Adopt-a-Station program, and aims to assist with general cleanup and beautification of the rail station and its grounds.
“Our volunteers are helping to keep New Jersey clean and green one community at a time,” said NJ Transit Adopt-a-Station Program Coordinator Deborah Eadie-Dixon. “The group demonstrates spirit and community pride by maintaining their local rail station. They are also our eyes and ears when they see issues involving litter.”
