A 35-year-old homeless man was charged in Belmar recently with robbing, striking and cutting another person, according to Monmouth County Courthouse.
Randy Stokes was charged on April 26 with robbing an "A.S.L." and "inflicting bodily injury" on the victim, according to court records.
Stokes allegedly restrained the victim and struck him in the face, causing a laceration above his left eye.
Stokes was lodged in jail on $50,000 bail with no 10 percent option. He is schedule to appear in court on Wednesday at 9 a.m.
