Power Restored To Much Of Belmar

A U-Haul truck hit a utility pole, leaving areas of town without power, according to Police Captain Andrew Huisman. The U-Haul truck hit the pole on Highway 35 near Oakwood Road around noon, he said, according to the Coast Star.

JCP&L crews had power restored to most of the town by 3:30 p.m., although some homes, including those on Oakwood Road, were still waiting for power to come back, according to the Coast Star.
