St. Denis Students Stage Passion Play
As Easter approaches, students perform Living Stations of the Cross
Eighth grade students from St. Denis School in Manasquan staged a reenactment of the Passion during their Living Stations of the Cross performance on Tuesday evening.
The performance was a live reenactment of the passion and death of Jesus accompanied by narration, music and Bible passages. Jesus was portrayed by Alexander Ciorlian.
In the Catholic faith, the Stations of the Cross are a tradition that commemorates 14 key events on the day of Christ's crucifixion.
