• Manville takes out arch-rival Bound Brook, 35-0 as Gosk runs for two, tossed two touchdowns (cjsportsradio.com) — Manville football fans have plenty to cheer about after the Mustangs dominated arch-rival Bound Brook 35-7 at Ned Panfile Stadium, powered by four touchdowns from quarterback Jonathan Gosk. The win moves Manville to 2-1 on the season, with another home game coming up next week against Dunellen that local supporters can plan to attend. 
• Somerville & Somerset County Library Board Issue Joint Statement on Initial Talks to Restore Full Library Services (tapinto.net) — Somerville residents affected by their branch library's closure are being directed to nearby Bridgewater and Manville branches, with home delivery available for those unable to travel. While officials continue talks on restoring full services in Somerville, the Somerset County Library System is maintaining programs, book returns, and online resources that also connect closely with Manville and other neighboring communities.
