Motorcycle Stolen, Wawa Arrest: Maplewood Police Items

The Maplewood police shared a few items from their reports this week.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Aside from a robbery at a gas station on Thursday night, the Maplewood police this week shared two other recent crime reports.

Police said that this past weekend, someone reported parking a BMW motorcycle in a parking garage at 200 Boyden Ave on Saturday, May 1 at 8:30 p.m. When the person returned the next day at 1:35 p.m., the bike was missing.

In other crime news, police responded to the Wawa on Springfield Avenue on Sunday and arrested a man for trespassing.

Police said that Officer Dolan responded to the store at 10:22 p.m. After an investigation, he arrested a 65-year-old Irvington man. The man was issued a summons for trespassing and released pending a court date.
