• Maplewood Middle Principal: Student Not in Crosswalk was Struck by Vehicle at Dismissal on Tuesday (villagegreennj.com) — A Maplewood Middle School student was struck by a vehicle on Baker Street at dismissal, evaluated by the nurse and EMS, and taken to a local facility as a precaution. Principal Kevin Mason is urging Maplewood families to review crosswalk and pedestrian safety with their children, noting police were present but the student was not in a designated crossing area.
