MUSIC DIRECTOR/ORGANIST

Music Director/Organist needed Embury United Methodist Church in Little Silver, NJ, seeks a Music Director/Organist. The Church has a two-manual Moeller organ and an Essex Grand Piano. There are some talented singers and instrumentalists among the congregation.RESPONSIBILITIES:      Average 12 hours/week commitment that would include but not be limited to Sunday morning prep. and worship, currently at 10AM and Thursday evening prep.          and rehearsal.      Play for additional services during Lent, Advent and Thanksgiving Day.      Direct adult choir and handbell choir with Thursday evening rehearsals.      Assist Pastor in selecting music for services.BENEFITS:      Four weeks paid vacation per year.      Additional income from weddings and funerals.      Competitive salary.STARTING DATE:      June 1, 2014 To Apply: Send resume to: emburyumc@aol.com by March 31, 2014
