There aren’t enough hotels or railroads on the board game to amount to this top prize, however, which grossed the lucky winner a whopping $21 million, according to lottery officials. On top of that, 14 other $1 million winners were awarded as a result of the drawing, hailing from Arizona, Washington DC, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas.
The Monopoly game debuted on Oct. 19, and as the jackpot grows, so does the opportunity for subsequent million-dollar prizes, lottery officials said.

If millions of dollars wasn’t enough, the winner, when he or she comes forward, will also be adorned with Mr. Monopoly’s top hat.
Drawings are held each Friday at 11:15 p.m.
New Jersey has been a hot spot for winning lottery tickets recently after two $1 million winners were sold in the same town within five days of each other.
