CBA of Middletown Inducts Seven Alumni and 1977 Baseball Team Into School's Hall of Fame

Good Morning America's Tony Reali, Community Leaders, and Former Athletics Stars among Honorees

The CBA community celebrated the induction of its 2014 Hall of Fame honorees at the second annual CBA Hall of Fame Gala on November 21 at Shore Casino in Atlantic Highlands. The CBA HallofFame honors those members of the community who best exemplify CBA ideals and who have brought credit and distinction to the Academy.

Any member of the CBA community may nominate an individual or a team for membership in the Hall of Fame. Nominations are reviewed and final selections made by a committee composed of the CBA president and senior school administrators, Alumni Association president, and representatives from the Board of Trustees.

This year’s inductees include alumni from the 1960s to 1990s and who represent a number of fields and areas of expertise and accomplishment, including Tony Reali, a 1996 CBA graduate who is the new social media correspondent for Good Morning America and a host on ESPN.

“At CBA I learned how to lead by word and example and mission and code. I learned how to be a man,” said Reali. “Life often gives you a test long before the lesson. But at CBA you don’t have to worry about that. Not a day goes by when I don’t reach back on those lessons and they teach me all over again. The enrollment is four years, the education is a lifetime.”
