Middletown Car Seat Safety Check Friday, April 19

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Is your son or daughter in the right car seat?

Find out for free this Friday, April 19 when the Middletown Twp. police department will provide a free car seat installation and safety check for all Middletown residents. Simply show up from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. Friday, April 19 at the Old Village Fire Company (1340 Hwy. 35 south) and police officers will either make sure your car seat is installed correctly or they will install a new car seat for you, at no cost.

Children and babies have died or been seriously injured from not being in car seats or being in car seats that were not properly installed, and became dislodged in an accident:
