Middletown Memorial Garden Receives A 9/11 Survivor Tree Clone
This is the first time the New York City Parks system has donated a clone of the Callery pear tree to a municipality outside of NYC.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — On Tuesday, Middletown will receive a 9/11 "Survivor tree" clone donated by the New York City Parks system.
This is a clone of the single Callery pear tree that survived the 9/11 bombings on Sept. 11, 2001. This tree is a clone or "offspring" from that original tree's cuttings.
