Monmouth County Moms And Daughters Who Look Alike
Can you see the resemblance? Moms and daughters from Middletown, Holmdel, Hazlet and Colts Neck share their pics with Patch.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies, humor or a combination of them all, daughters become reflections of the women who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we celebrated that special bond by inviting Patch readers across New Jersey to share their "mother-daughter look-alike" photos.
These women from Middletown, Holmdel, Hazlet and Colts Neck sent us some lovely messages:

"My name is Mary (Cooke) and my daughters are Kelsey and Erin (Haines). We live in Hazlet. On this Mother’s Day, thank you Kelsey and Erin for an amazing ride! You are wonderful women and I am excited for the next chapters in your lives. Love you always, Mom"

"Here is a shot of me with my daughter Mary. We have been told many times that we very much look alike. I actually see it more in our mannerisms than physical looks. Mary and her brother, Will, are my touchstones, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have these two precious individuals in my life." — Eileen Orsini Colts Neck, NJ

My message to my mom, Gladys Guerin, from Bayonne, NJ: "You are an amazing woman because you offer me your love forever. I love you, Mom and I thank God for being your daughter. I just want you to know how special and fortunate I find myself to be blessed with a mother as loving, caring and wonderful as you are. Happy Mother’s Day." Love, Johanna Christian (Holmdel, NJ)

"My name is Fran Marino, I am 50 years old and I live in Middletown, NJ. This is me pictured with my daughter, Amanda Marino, who is 18. Everyone tells us how much we look alike. Amanda is my heart. We have a beautiful mother-daughter bond and we share a common love of music, movies and theater. Thank you for a chance to submit our photo!"

"Please see this pic of my daughter Tahlia and I. I want to thank her for making me a mom and for being my best friend." - Olga Deich (mom) to Tahlia Elkanovich (daughter), Manalapan, NJ.

"Without fail, you have always been there for me, Mom, never leaving my side! Friends seem to come and go, but you’re always right there ready to support me. Thank you so much, Mom, I love you." - Baye Juntunen, of Hazlet, with her mom, Tory Juntunen.
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!
