• Tuesday Was First Day Of NY Waterway Back To Running Belford Ferry Service (patch.com) — Ferry commuters from Belford in Middletown now have NY Waterway back running daily service to Manhattan after winning back the county contract. Weekday and weekend schedules offer multiple departures, with various ticket options and free Midtown shuttle buses. This change restores a familiar operator for roughly 1,100 Monmouth County riders who rely on the route.
   

• 📣Join Middletown Arts Center Oct. 8th, for a 🧙Spooktacular Pocketbook Bingo Evening! (tapinto.net) — Middletown residents can enjoy a Halloween-themed Pocketbook Bingo night at the Middletown Arts Center on October 8, complete with cash prizes and designer handbag raffles. Tickets are $40, with discounted pre-sale raffle packages available through October 3, and guests may bring their own food while purchasing drinks on site. Proceeds support local arts programming right in town.
   

• CBA Soccer Pays Back Middletown South for Early A North Upper-Hand (shoresportsinsider.com) — Middletown soccer fans saw Christian Brothers Academy avenge last year's Shore Conference loss with a 3–1 home win over Middletown South, powered by senior Justin Arias's two assists and a goal. The early-season matchup highlights both programs as major contenders again, with Middletown South still expected to challenge for conference honors later this fall.
