The NJSBA will hold three public meetings where they will hear from the Middletown community. The dates of those meetings are:

The budget passed, with three Board members, Frank Capone, Jacqueline Tobacco and Gary Tulp, voting against the tax increase.

The final budget that will be introduced Wednesday night will increase Middletown's school tax levy 10.09 percent.
Board members Frank Capone and Jacqueline Tobacco were the only two board members to vote against the 10.1 percent tax increase.
The school district will hire an outside consultant for the strategic planning process.
It remains unknown how the Board will vote tonight, or even if they will get a majority vote to pass the proposed tax increase.
They will protest on the Leonardo sports fields Saturday morning against closing schools — this year, and in the future.
