Take Kids Fishing For Science Out Of Atlantic Highlands
On Saturday, August 10 the American Littoral Society will lead a fish tagging trip from Atlantic Highlands. They have a few spots left.

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ — It's an understatement to say the Raritan Bayshore is a big fishing area. But how about taking your kids fishing not just for sport, but for science this August?
The American Littoral Society, which operates out of Sandy Hook, is hosting a day of fishing and tagging in New Jersey waters on August 10. This is ideal for experienced taggers and novices alike, and is a great opportunity for kids, particularly older tweens and teens.
If you've never tagged fish before, this is a great opportunity to learn from experienced taggers. You must purchase tickets in advance, see below.
