MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Here is full video recording of the most recent Middletown Township Committee meeting, held this past Monday night, April 16.

Recorded by Middletown resident Don Watson, here is what happened:

A new police K-9 was "sworn" in with his handler.

A bond ordinance from last year was reintroduced and adopted, due to incorrect wording in the original ordinance.

There was a public hearing regarding the municipal budget. There were a few people who came to ask about different line items in the budget that have had extreme fluctuations over the past couple of years. Middletown's chief financial officer, Colleen Lapp, provided clear explanations for those line items, Watson said.

Resolutions were adopted, one of which renewed a lease that allowed Oasis Therapeutic Life Centers to use a portion of Stevenson Park to farm.
