Free online programs at the Middletown Township Public Library

The Middletown Township Public Library is open on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 18th, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Meet Dr. King, a recorded presentation by Bright Star Touring Theatre, will be available for viewing on the Library’s website January 18th – February 1st. For grades K-5.

Monologues and Scene Writing for Teens and Tweens meets via zoom on Monday, January 18th @ 7:00 pm. Register online @ mtpl.org to receive zoom link.

Author/illustrator Jarrett Lerner visits via zoom on Thursday, January 21st @ 4:00 pm. Lerner is the author of EngiNerds, Revenge of the EngiNerds and the forthcoming book The EngiNerds Strike Back. Register online @ mtpl.org to receive zoom link for this event. For ages 9-12.

SLP Musically Sing-Along from home via zoom is a fun, accessible music experience for children of all abilities. Link information can be found on the Library’s website, mtpl. org. Saturday, January 23rd @ 1:30 pm.

History Lovers Book Club: A fun and lively discussion about our favorite historical fiction and non-fiction books. The meeting will be held via zoom; register online to receive zoom link. Tuesday, January 19th @ 10:00 am.

Play Teen Winter Bingo Challenge: Download the BINGO board from the Teen Website or stop in for a copy. Read a book that fits each category and fill it out underneath. Books cannot be repeated. Complete a line across, down, or diagonal and submit the completed board to mchimento@mtpl.org.

Adult Winter Read Bingo: Cold weather is coming which means it’s time to hunker down with some great books. Download a bingo card from the MTPL website or pick one up at the adult reference desk and join in the fun. Complete a line up, down, or diagonally and receive a prize.

Teen Mystery DIY Kit available while supplies last.

Virtual Math Tutoring: Need help with math? Sign up for a free virtual tutoring session with high school honor students on Monday afternoons. Have your math work with you, textbook and/or homework. Tutoring is for students in grades K-12 only. Each tutoring session is 60 minutes long, starting at 3:30 pm. Register online @ mtpl.org.
