What's Happening @ Middletown Township Public Library 2/28-3/6/21

Free online programs @ the Middletown Township Public Library

Beginning March 6th the Library will be open on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Computer use is limited to one hour. Table reservations are required and limited to 2 hours.

As of March 6th, hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday, 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, Sunday closed.

Donations will be accepted beginning Monday, March 8th. Limit one bag per household.

Rubber Duckie Book Club Storytime meets via zoom on Wednesday, March 3rd @ 4:00 pm. Register online at mtpl.org to receive zoom link.

Have a blind date with a book. All the books on display in the HUB are wrapped. Patrons are welcome to browse the shelf for the various genres, but do not open any of the books until they are checked out. Then find out who your blind book date is. For all ages.

Wifi Hotspots are now available at the Middletown Township Public Library. Wifi Hotspots are wifi-on-the-go enabling connection to a device that provides internet service wherever you are. Perfect for traveling. Five Wifi Hotspots are available for borrowing and must be checked out/returned to the Reference Desk. Restrictions apply. Read the Wifi Hotspot lending policy on the Library’s website.

Check out YouTube every Friday for a new Science Storytime video with Miss Jennifer. Click on the Library website calendar for the link. For ages 4+. Friday, March 5th all day.

Play Teen Winter Bingo Challenge: Download the BINGO board from the Teen Website or stop in for a copy. Read a book that fits each category and fill it out underneath. Books cannot be repeated. Complete a line across, down, or diagonal and submit the completed board to mchimento@mtpl.org.

Teen Scratch Art CDs: Pick up a Teen DIY Activity Kit while supplies last. March 1st - 12th.

Adult DIY Craft: Adult Tree art. Kit available while supplies last.

Middletown Makers: Share a photograph of anything made with your hands during the past year, with an emphasis on learning-through-doing. Photographs will be displayed in a virtual slide show at #MakerMarch! Details are on the Library’s website.
