A CONVERSATION ON CIVIL CONVERSATION presented by the Monmouth Center for World Religions and Ethical Thought. A short video on speaking together differently in order to live together differently will be followed by a civil conversation with the objective of building momentum towards less polarization in your society. College Essay Workshop presented by certified college admission counselor Christine Zirngibl. Explore what topics work well for the personal essay, what to avoid, how to develop an effective narrative and what techniques make an essay stand out. Brainstorm for your own topic and evaluate different essays. Thursday, August 23rd @ 6:30 pm.

The Cardboard Challenge: Build anything using cardboard, recycled materials and imagination. For Ages 8+. Wednesday, August 22nd @ 2:00 pm.
Lapsit Stortime: A quiet, low-key group experience designed for pre-walkers with parents/caregivers. Introduce baby to the library with songs, rhymes, puppets, and a story together. Social time before and after gives adults an opportunity to connect with others caring for infants while getting babies accustomed to being around other babies. A Drop-In Program for ages up to 32 months. Thursday, August 23rd @ 10:00 am.

SLP Musically: A fun, free, and accessible music experience. Children of all abilities (including AAC users) listen and sing the music of the Laurie Berkner Band, camp songs, and some originals performed in a sing-a-long style. A Drop-In program for ages 4-9. Saturday, August 25th @ 10:00 am.
