MILLBURN, NJ — Gov. Phil Murphy attended the annual reorganization meeting of the Millburn Township Committee on Tuesday night. Before swearing in two committee members, he spoke against anti-Semitism and encouraged everyone to "call it out every time we see it." He also encouraged prayers for military members and diplomats in harm's way, and said he will address statewide issues, such as NJ Transit, in his State of the State address next week.

Then, Murphy swore in Dianne Thall-Eglow to her second term on the committee. He also swore in Richard Wasserman, whom he called a "great guy" and "a great addition" to the committee.

In the committee form of government, the five members are elected by the public, and they choose a mayor and deputy mayor from among themselves.
