Millburn Teachers, Staff Want New Work Contract
Members of the Millburn Education Association have been working without a contract since June, reports say.

MILLBURN, NJ — More than 200 members of the Millburn Education Association (MEA), which represents teachers, secretaries and paraprofessionals in the district, protested en masse outside the Millburn Education Center earlier this month. Their demand? A new work contract.

In November, the MEA filed a notice of impasse with the state, requesting a mediator. Board of Education member Rick Gray told NorthJersey.com that the mediation process will begin once someone is appointed to fill that role. (Read the full article)
