Mixed precipitation is expected, with snow accumulations of under 1" and ice accumulations of 0.1'-0.2". Hazardous road conditions are anticipated and there is potential for frozen and downed tree limbs and wires.

Due to hazardous conditions, residents are advised to avoid the roads when possible. If you must travel, plan for slippery conditions and SLOW down. Caution should also be used when walking throughout the Township. As a reminder, residents should report any storm-related outages directly to their utility providers at the numbers listed below:

Downed trees and wires may be reported via the non-emergency PD line at 973-564-7001. Stay away from any and all downed wires, even if you believe they are no longer carrying electricity. Extra caution should be used in areas where downed lines are tangled with trees or other debris. Treat intersections with inoperable traffic signals as four-way stops.
