The Montclair Board of Education officially has seven members again.

Montclair, NJ –Montclair town officials swore in the Rev. Jevon Caldwell-Gross as a member of the Montclair Board of Education last week, rounding out the board’s roster after a weeks-long shuffle regarding three new appointments.

In May, Mayor Robert Jackson announced that he was appointing three new board members: Caldwell-Gross, Joseph Kavesh and Franklin Turner.

Jackson later announced that he was temporarily rescinding the three appointments, only to change his mind and allow the appointments to go through shortly afterwards.
